The Ambassador Project
Palm Springs, CA
Set on a half-acre lot, this modern desert residence is designed as a private retreat organized around landscape, light, and indoor-outdoor living. The home pairs grounded stone volumes with deep overhangs, expansive glazing, and a refined material palette that feels both substantial and calm.
The 4,316-square-foot main house includes four bedrooms, a den/media room, four and a half baths, and two garages. Living spaces open to a central courtyard and pool, creating a strong connection between the interiors and the surrounding desert garden. A separate 517-square-foot guest house provides one bedroom, a full bath, and a living area with a kitchenette, offering flexibility for visitors, extended stays, or private work-from-home use.
Conceived as a speculative residence, the project balances high-end livability with a quiet architectural presence. Natural stone, warm wood, shaded outdoor rooms, and layered xeriscape planting work together to create a home that feels deeply connected to its site.
